Turnovers plagued East Central from their opening series in front a weary, yet loyal home crowd in Decatur, MS on Thursday night.
The Warriors threw an interception on their second play of the game, but regained possession shortly after thanks to a Co-Lin fumble.
That's when quarterback Anthony Triplett made the game fun again in Decautr. On plays that were almost identical, Triplett evaded pressure and scrambled to find James Clark down field. The second of those plays was an acrobatic, one-handed catch.
However, Warrior momentum came to a halt when Tyler Pace took a hand-off and fumbled on the goal line. Co-Lin defensive back Josh Russell recovered, and the Wolves drove the other way for a field goal.
The game ended with another shut-out, 23-0 at the hands of the Wolves who improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the MACJC South Division.
East Central (0-3, 0-1) travel to Southwest Thursday, Sept. 19.
