East Central Women's Basketball Adds Seven

East Central Community College welcomed seven new teammates to next year's women's basketball squad.

Keocania Yarbrough, Andreka Harper, Haley Watkins, ShaMiya Evans and Shaniqua Quinn signed to play for new head coach Crandall Porter's first team in Decatur.

Family members were on hand as school president Dr. Billy Stewart spoke of dedication to winning in a new era for lady Warriors basketball.

Leake Academy point guard Anna Katherine Nowell and Brookhaven High's Christen Benson have also decided to play for Porter. Jaleshia Jones and Tynika Bender have already enrolled.

All but two of the students who make up Porter's first class come from East Mississippi.

Shaniqua Quinn - 5'9" G/F, Brandon High School
