The East Central baseball team signed eleven young men to their roster Tuesday in the campus' Mabry cafeteria in Decatur, MS. High school seniors from Mbile and all throughout Mssissippi gathered with their families and prep coaches to celebrate. January 15th marks national signing day for junior college baseball. Head coach Neal Holliman said he was very pleased the addition to the Warrior family.

"We're very fortunate to have not only what we feel is the best in our surrounding area, but to be able to branch out throughout the whole state," said Holliman. "All the way from the South Panola area (to) all the way down."

Coach Holliman's signees will help rebuild a baseball program that ranked as high as 15th nationally in 2011, but finished with a disappointing 25-21 record in 2012
