The East Central softball team added to it's roster Wednesday, signing four young athletes from East Mississippi, completing the first signing class for new head coach Kristin Chaney.
Anna Katherine Nowell and Hannah Peoples of Leake Academy, West Lauderdale's Mallory Turner and Ananezia Triplett from Forest all signed with the Warriors.
"It's new and exciting. We're getting kids that can play all kinds of different positions, " say Chaney. "That's what we brought in and today is about the kids in the gold room, and we're excited to have them and excited for them to be lady warriors, and we can't wait to get them on campus."
Coach Chaney and the lady warriors open the season February 5th at home against Baton Rouge.
