Lamar School senior Olivia Mabry was the female recipient of the Don Souder award for the M.A.I.S. student-athletes of the year. The award goes to one male and one female in the state.
Mabry played basketball, soccer and tennis for the Raiders while still finding time to be a cheerleader. She was voted all-state in both basketball and soccer.
Among other club membership, she was the President of her senior class and the Lamar National Honor Society. She will attend Mississippi College this Fall.
She is the first student in her school's history to win the award.
There are 115 student bodies in the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools.
