UNDATED (AP) -- It's rivalry week for several Southeastern Conference teams. This year's Iron Bowl -- featuring No. 1 Alabama at No. 4 Auburn -- is the main attraction, but several other games also have postseason implications. Also on the schedule: No. 2 Florida State at Florida, Georgia Tech at Georgia and Mississippi at Mississippi State.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) -- Craig Sword scored a team-high 12 points and Mississippi State survived a scare from Jackson State Wednesday at Humphrey Coliseum but held on for a 58-56 victory. Sword had six of his 12 points in the final four minutes. MSU (4-1) also received 11 points each from Fred Thomas and Roquez Johnson.

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Cole Darling scored 18 points and Wright State stayed perfect at home with a 73-55 victory over Alcorn State on Wednesday night. All four of the Raiders' victories have come at home. The Braves remained winless in three road games.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Mississippi State guard Gabe Jackson is the first recipient of the Kent Hull Trophy, which is given to Mississippi's most outstanding collegiate offensive lineman. The 6-foot-4, 340-pound Jackson is a fifth-year senior from Liberty, Miss., who hasn't allowed a sack all season. He's expected to be a coveted NFL prospect in April.
