After almost two months with a head football coaching vacancy, Neshoba Central has found its man.

After 12 very successfull seasons at sweet water, Stacy Luker has been hired as the Rockets new coach. The Neshboa school board approved the decision Monday evening.

The West Alabama Watchman says Luker won won five state championships in a 7-year period including three in a row from 2006 to 2008.

The rockets have struggled in recent years. They've made the playoffs only one time in the last eleven seasons. Luker will replace Chuck Friend, who stepped down after Neshoba Central finished 1-10 in 2013.
