Ole Miss is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2002 and will face Wisconsin in the second round on Friday.
The No. 12 seed in the NCAA West Regional, the Rebels will take on the No. 5 seed Badgers at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. The game will be televised on TruTV with an 11:40 am CT tip. With its SEC Tournament Championship victory, Ole Miss has now won 26 games and is just one win shy of tying the 2000-01 squad's school record of 27 victories.
Fans may purchase tickets through the Ole Miss Ticket Office at www.OleMissSports.com or by calling 1-888-732-8587. Session tickets are $80 and Ole Miss' allotment of tickets will be allocated based on priority. Students may also purchase tickets for $80 and 10 percent of the Rebels' allotment will be reserved for students. Student tickets will be allocated based on Rebel Rewards points.
Ole Miss would face the No. 4 seed Kansas State or the winner of the play-in game between Boise State and La Salle in the third round on Sunday with a victory over Wisconsin. A trip to Los Angeles awaits the Rebels if they advance to the Sweet Sixteen and a possible matchup with No. 1 seed Gonzaga.
This marks the Rebels' seventh in NCAA Tournament appearance and first for head coach Andy Kennedy. Ole Miss also tripped to Kansas City for the first and second rounds en route to a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2001. That year the Rebels knocked off Iona in the first round and Notre Dame in the second round before traveling to San Antonio.
