It appears former Mississippi State cornerback coach Melvin Smith's departure to Auburn has impacted their recruiting efforts. West Bolivar High School running back Kailo Moore de-committed from Mississippi State and re-opened his recruitment.
The Clarion-Ledger's Hugh Kellenburger says the West Bolivar high running back's de-commitment was impacted by Smith's decision to join Gus Malzahn's developing coaching staff at Auburn. Kellenburger reports that Moore is leaning torward Ole Miss.
It is not known when he will make his decision. College Football's national signing day is not until February 1st..
