When the Ole Miss Rebels meet the PIttsburgh Panthers in the BBVA Compass Bowl, they will be without tight end Jamal Mosley.
The Clarion-Ledger's Hugh Kellenburger reports Mosley is academically ineligable for the January 5th bowl game.
Mosley began his collegiate career at Oklahoma State before transfering to Northwest Mississippi Community College. He enrolled at Ole Miss in the Fall 2011. Head Coach Hugh Freeze told Kellenburger his starting tight end actually had the chance to do extra work to be eligable for the game.
Mosely caught 15 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns in 2012. Ferbia Allen and H.R. Greer will play in his place.
Mosley is not expected to be in Oxford in the Spring.
