POLLARD WAS INVOLVED IN A HIGHLY PUBLICIZED KIDNAPPING CASE OF A SIX YEAR OLD GIRLS FROM A KEMPER COUNTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
BUT LAST MONTH, A FEDERAL JUDGE IN JACKSON APPROVED A PLEA AGREEMENT FOR POLLARD ALLOWING HIM TO AVOID PROSECUTION IN THE CASE IF HE STAYS OUT OF TROUBLE FOR TWO YEARS. PROSECUTORS OFFERED THE 19-YEAR-OLD THE DEAL IN EXCHANGE FOR TESTIMONY AGAINST HIS MOTHER, JESSE MAE BROWN POLLARD, WHO WAS CONVICTED IN THE CASE.
