LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama football program has scheduled an interest meeting for prospective walk-ons, head coach Brett Gilliland announced today.
The meeting is scheduled for Feb. 25, 2014 at 5 p.m. in the team meeting room at Homer Field House on the UWA campus. Only current UWA students are eligible to attend the meeting.
Interested potential walk-ons should bring the following items to the meeting:
1. Current UWA class schedule
2. Health insurance card
3. Evidence of their most recent physical examination.
The Tigers are expected to begin spring drills in early April with the annual spring game set for April 26 at Tiger Stadium.
