Dove season has officially opened in both Mississippi and Alabama, here's a look at the dates of the season in each state.

MISSISSIPPI 2010-11 Dove Seasons (Mourning and White-Winged)

SOUTH ZONE: South of Hwy 84 East of Hwy 35

Limit --- 15 a Day

Season Dates
September 4 - 12
October 9 - November 4
December 13 - January 15

NORTH ZONE: North of Hwy 84, South of 84 AND West of Hwy 35

Season Dates
September 4 - 26
October 9 - November 3
December 26 - January 15

ALABAMA 2010-11 Dove Seasons (Mourning and White-Winged)

SOUTH ZONE: Baldwin; Barbour; Coffee; Covington; Dale; Escambia; Geneva; Henry; Houston; and Mobile.

Limit --- 15 a Day

Season Dates
October 2 – October 31
November 25 – November 28
December 4 – January 8

Shooting Hours:
12 O’clock noon until Sunset (Afternoon Shooting Only) October 2
One-half hour before Sunrise until Sunset (All Day) October 3 – October 31
One-half hour before Sunrise until Sunset (All Day)
November 25 – November 28
One-half hour before Sunrise until Sunset (All Day) December 4 – January 8

NORTH ZONE: All counties except those listed above.
Limit --- 15 a Day

Season Dates
September 4 – October 3
October 23 – November 6
December 11 – January 4

Shooting Hours:
12 O’clock noon until Sunset (Afternoon Shooting Only) September 4
One-half hour before Sunrise until Sunset (All Day) September 5 – October 3
One-half hour before Sunrise until Sunset (All Day) October 23– November 6
One-half hour before Sunrise until Sunset (All Day) December 11 – January 4
