Jasper County is preparing to advertise again for a cap loan that would lead to Jones County Junior College opening a workforce training center there.

The board of supervisors in Jasper County has voted to re-advertise for a $1 million low-interest capital improvements loan.

If approved by the Mississippi Development Authority, the loan would used toward the construction of a Jones County Junior College Workforce Training Center in Bay Springs.
