Trick-or-treating in Meridian will be allowed Wednesday, October 31st from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. No one over the age of 12 can wear a mask. Police advise that children should be escorted by a responsible adult in familiar neighborhoods. Parents are also asked to check candy, fruit and other treats that are collected.

Officials in Clarke County have said trick-or-treating should be from 5 p.m to 8 p.m.

In all areas, care should be exercised, children should be accompanied by adults, and existing curfews should be observed.
