East Central Community College
ECCC to Present ‘Shrek the Musical’ April10-12

East Central Community College’s Encore performers will present their spring musical selection, “Shrek the Musical,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10 through Saturday, April 12, in the Vickers Fine Arts Auditorium on the Decatur campus. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased by calling the College switchboard at 601-635-6215 or 1-877-462-3222, ext. 215. Group rates are available for 20 or more.

Natalie Emmons, who is serving her first year as “Encore” director, said, “’Shrek the Musical,’ based on the DreamWorks Animation motion picture, brings the hilarious story of everyone’s favorite ogre to dazzling new life on the stage. In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre shows up to rescue a feisty princess. ‘Shrek the Musical’ is part romance, part twisted fairytale and all around fun for everyone!”
