Mississippi State Service Plan partners – the Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service, the State Office of the Corporation for National and Community Service, and the Mississippi Department of Education - are holding informational sessions to discuss the availability of federal funds to support and opportunities to access National Service Programs, including AmeriCorps, *VISTA, *NCCC, Learn and Serve America, and Senior Corps programs. Educational institutions, governmental agencies, and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for national service funding.

This is an opportunity to learn more about national service opportunities in Mississippi – be it how to submit an application for an AmeriCorps program or how to tap into available resources.
