LFW LABOR DAY FUNDRAISER

LFW Ministries (Linda Faye Willis Ministries) will host their Labor Day Fundraiser. Your choice of boston butt or rack of ribs $25.00 each. A variety of baked goods will also be available for purchase on pick up day. Orders will be taken Sunday, July 13th through Monday, August 25th. Pick up day will be Friday, August 29th from 3PM until 6PM at AGAPE Storehouse Apostolic Church Fellowship Hall located at 4603 Highway 39 North; Meridian, MS. Gold Tournament

Annandale Golf Club
On Friday, May 1, 2009, McAlister's Deli will host the Tea for Tots Golf Classic at Annandale Gold Club to raise funds for The Mustard Seed. The Third annual event will comprise of several special happenings including a picnic lunch,18-hole shotgun start golf tournament and a closing awards ceremony. In addition to the tournament, there will also be a drawdown for a trip to the SEC Championship football game and a ladies champagne brunch at the home of Susan and Charles Laney that will feature cooking and wine paring demonstrations and other useful entertaining tips. The day will conclude with a Silent Auction featuring art created by Mustard Seedsters, weekend getaways, paintings by local artists and other exclusive packages. Tickets to the bruch are $20 and drawdown tickets can be purchased for $35 (or two for $50).

The Mustard Seed seeks to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional and intellectual needs of mentally challenged adults by providing a loving and protected Christian community and meaningful activities that allow the participants to fulfill their full potential. "We are proud to host this tournament to support The Mustard Seed as they work to better our supporting those who share in that mission with us, " says Phil Friedman, President and CEO of McAlister's Deli.
