Neshoba County Has Storm Damage

Severe thunderstorms in east Mississippi Thursday left damage in the Hope community of Neshoba County along Road 151.

The National Weather Service reported two homes were damaged just southwest of the Pearl River Resort.

One of those homes had a porch damaged and shingles torn off the roof. Two out buildings had roofs blown off.

Emergency management officials say the damage may have been caused by a possible tornado.

Neshoba County was under a tornado warning at the time of the storm.
