BOSTON (AP) -- The heat wave baking the East Coast may be breaking soon -- but not before another really hot day.
It'll be a sauna again from the Southeast to New England, where forecasters say the thermometer could top out near 100 degrees.
Officials are again urging people to avoid strenuous outdoor activity.
The operator of New England's power grid reported high electricity demand and a tight supply yesterday, with expectations of a slightly tighter supply today in the six-state region.
It was 99 in New York City yesterday. And in the fifth inning of the Kansas City Royals-Yankees game, fans at Yankee Stadium cheered loudly when a cloud moved in front of the sun.
They booed moments later when the sun returned.
