A lightning strike Wednesday may have caused a brush fire in the Gila River Reservation in the West Valley outside Phoenix.
The fire is burning brush and trees in a remote area. No homes are currently threatened and there are no evacuations.
Eight other wildfires are burning southeast of Tucson, with two of those close to merging near a subdivision in Tubac.
