The city of Meridian is looking to see if there are any fixable problems with drainage pipes, as rain continues to dominate the forecast.

if possible think they would scrap the 3ft. but because of the old mayor and all that was done to do so would land up with lawsuit's up the butt.. and make the Marion Vs. Meridian case look like nothing....

Scrap the 3 foot Hotel and use the money for drainage, paving, and other infastructure repairs. Those sandbags around the "hotel" are so inviting. However, a sandbag would be more attractive with the city logo.

do as they do in NYC.. run a robot in the pipe system will give you cheap and effective way to find the troubles and fix them....
