Sun and clouds have been with us today with a shower or two developing north of Highway 16 this afternoon. Rain will be very isolated in nature, and rain will taper off around sunset, in time for all the area football games tonight.
Saturday and Sunday will see the potential for a stray shower and storm again as an area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico organizes itself a little more and sends rain potential our direction. This system is not expected to develop into anything tropical, but it will be a nuisance for those along the coast and for those of us that see a quick rain shower or storm.
We dry out as we head into next week as high pressure takes over and temperatures will respond by warming into the mid 90s by the end of the week. As of now, we could again challenge the warmest reading so far this year by the end of the week.
