The calendar says it's the last day of spring, but the weather says that summer is already here. With temperatures in the 90s and heat index pushing 100 every day, summer is here in a big way. We will be seeing some increase in rain chances as we head into the weekend, but during the week we will see only pop up showers and storms.
Tonight we will see temperatures dropping into the upper 60’s with of few in the lower 70’s with skies clearing as we go through the night. Tomorrow we will see an increase in rain chances as the high pressure that brought us all the clear conditions will be weakening. The rain will still be pop up showers, just a lot more of them. With state games going on this weekend, be sure to bring an umbrella in case you see a few of those showers. Remember: When thunder roars, go indoors. Lightning is very dangerous, and these afternoon storms can produce a lot of it and we will see a lot of people outdoors this weekend.
We will be cooler through the weekend with the increase cloud cover and rain chances, and will start to warm back to the mid 90s by early next week.
Bottom Line: The weekend will be a little bit more wet then what we have been seeing, but the pattern will return to what we are currently seeing by the start of next week.
