With days like today, it is easy to see why Spring is a favorite season of so many people (including myself)! The Springtime weather appears to be staying around for a while as we start moving to more of a Spring pattern in the atmosphere.
In the short term...temperatures will continue to warm tomorrow and will top out in the middle 70s areawide. Clouds will be on the increase and we will see more of them on Sunday, making us completely overcast. Even with the clouds, we will still make it into the 70s before rain showers arrive well after sunset. Rain will be with us through our Monday morning and afternoon before we start to clear out late on our Monday. There could be some heavy rain and isolated storms with this system, but severe weather and flash flooding should not be a problem.
In the long term...behind our next system, skies will clear out and it will be much cooler for our Tuesday, but the cool down is short lived as high pressure builds back in and increases our highs back to the 70s for the end of next week. Little cloud cover is expected at this point.
