Monday, March 4 Forecast Discussion

Posted: Mon 1:16 PM, Mar 04, 2013

A beautiful day for us today as temperatures have climbed into the upper 60s with plenty of sunshine. Clouds will keep thickening up through the evening and overnight as our next area of low pressure looks to arrive tomorrow morning.

As the cold front arrives, we will see a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm. This system is a quick mover and looks to clear our skies our by sunset tomorrow. Once this system passes, some colder air will return for a day or two before we rebound back towards 70. High pressure will build in at the surface and aloft and keep skies clear for the middle of the week. Outside of some cold mornings, highs will be seasonal and comfortable.

This weekend will be a nice and warm one as warmer air returns from the south, pushing temperatures into the 70s area-wide. Rain does look to return on Monday with our next rain maker, but not before a beautiful and seasonably warm weekend.
