We've been seeing a lot of warm weather lately that is compliments of a high pressure parked to our south and east funneling in warm air from the gulf. This High pressure is also priming the atmosphere full of moisture as well.
Our week will start off warm with our highs in the mid 80's and lows in the lower 60's but that all changes by mid week.
A cold front working its way across the country is going to be bringing us rain showers and cooler temps. The cold front will arrive by mid week giving us a 40 percent chance of rain on both Wednesday and Thursday. All of that rain will cause our highs on those days to be in the upper 70's and lower 80's. Temps will begin droping off Thursday night and by Friday morning many locations will be looking at morning lows in the 40's. Afternoon highs for Friday and Saturday are expected to be the lower to mid 70's.
