The next 7 days look to bring a mixed bag of different types of weather, so if there's a certain type of weather you like, there's a good chance you'll see it...and if there's something you don't like, unfortunately you'll probably see that as well. We only topped out in the upper 50s this afternoon under partly to mostly cloudy skies (which is actually where we should be for this time of year), but the "cool" weather is on its way out. Tomorrow we start warming up again, with highs once again reaching the upper 60s and lower 70s. Tonight we should bottom out in the mid 40s, but that will most likely be the last time we see temperatures in the 40s through Thursday. Our warm up comes ahead of what looks to be a pretty potent storm system Tuesday night into Wednesday. The models have not been handling this system very well, but they have started coming in to better agreement over the past few runs. All are suggesting a round of strong to probably severe storms Tuesday night into Wednesday, but timing is still the biggest question, with one model suggesting the storms come through about 6-9 hours before the other model predicts. We still have plenty of time to watch model runs and predict when the bad weather should hit our viewing area, but I will say that we will more than likely see some rough weather mid week. After that moves out, we cool down to slightly below normal temperatures with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. So if you like warm weather, cold weather, clear skies, or storms, there's something in here for you. (If you like snow, I just couldn't swing that this week, but there's still plenty of time in winter left!) We'll keep you updated on the mid-week storm chances as time goes on.
