Saturday 3/2 Forecast Discussion

Today was one of the coldest days so far this year with some snow flurries falling on and off throughout the morning and afternoon. We officially reached 40 degrees briefly at Key Field this afternoon, and climatologically speaking, that should be our morning low for early March, not our high! As drier air moves in, the flurries will come to an end this evening, and tonight should be the coldest night so far this year, as many of us will likely make a run for the low to mid 20s. Make sure you take care of your pets, plants, and pipes! If you don't like the cold weather, you won't have to wait long, as the winds will shift back to the South starting tomorrow, and a warm-up will begin. We are looking at a pretty mild week, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s and 40s, with just a chance at some scattered showers on Tuesday.
