The cooler air rushing in behind the front will cool us down overnight as well as into your Sunday. For your Sunday, we'll barely break the 70 degree mark, but the good news is all of us will warm up significantly from there.
The massive warm-up begins on Monday with highs flirting with 80 degrees. After Monday we will warm up with no problem into the lower80s. The southerly winds and warmer temperatures will increase moisture across the area which could allow a few scattered showers. Our best shot of rain will arrive late Thursday night into Friday. At this time we are still a good ways out from this system, but we are watching it closely. With as warm as we are going to be and the amount of moisture in the air this could be a significant weather event. As we are still several days out a lot of things can change, so for now we are just watching for trends in the models and what to expect weather wise for all of us.
Behind the system that moves through will be another shot of cooler weather. Temperatures right now look to fall back down into the upper 60s and lower 70s behind the front for just a few days before we warm up again.
