Sunday 11/25 Forecast Discussion

Posted: Sun 8:35 PM, Nov 25, 2012

After a downright frigid night last night, tonight will be chilly, but not near as cold as we dip into the mid 30s under clear skies. You'll notice clouds on the increase tomorrow ahead of a disturbance coming out of the Southern Plains that will affect our area tomorrow evening through Tuesday morning. Right now it looks like mostly rain with some thunderstorms, a few of which could be on the strong side. Severe weather is not expected. Rain amounts will generally range from about a tenth of an inch up to around a half an inch in heavier downpours/thunderstorms. After that disturbance and ensuing cold front moves through, our weather returns to quite nice and seasonal. We'll see highs in the mid 60s and lows in the 30s and 40s for the rest of the week under partly cloudy skies.
