Sunday 12/2 Forecast DIscussion

Posted: Sun 7:48 PM, Dec 02, 2012

We came within 6 degrees of the record high temperature today as we climbed into the mid 70s this afternoon! It definitely did not feel like the beginning of December again today, and that pattern will continue through tomorrow. A lot of us woke up to fog this morning, and the National Weather Service has already issued a Dense Fog Advisory valid from 3:00AM to 9:00AM Monday morning, so you'll want to give yourself some extra time and take it easy on your morning commute. Highs will once again reach the mid 70s tomorrow under partly cloudy skies before a cold front makes its way across the state Tuesday night. That front will bring showers and thunderstorms, but severe weather is currently not expected. After that front passes, we will cool down a little bit, but it still won't feel very seasonable as highs remain in the mid 60s and lows only bottom out in the mid 40s. Our next chance of rain comes in on Friday, lasting though Saturday, but it's still too soon to be sure what exactly will happen with that.
