Sunday, March 3 Forecast Discussion

Posted: Sun 7:53 PM, Mar 03, 2013

After a freezing start to our Sunday, temperatures rebounded nicely into the 50s today with ample sunshine. We will see plenty of sunshine to start our Monday before clouds begin arriving in the afternoon. Winds will be strong from the south tomorrow pushing our temperatures to near 70 degrees. These strong winds are ahead of our next system that will arrive on Tuesday.

Tuesday's system looks to be a quick mover as it should be gone by evening. We may see a strong storm, but no severe weather is expected. Once the cold front departs, it will cool us down for Wednesday before temperatures skyrocket through the rest of the week.

Our next system will not arrive until either late Sunday or Monday, and during the rest of the week, high pressure will be firmly in control and push temperatures into the 70s for the weekend, making it feel Spring-like as we inch ever so closer to the the Vernal Equinox.
