Now that I have your attention (since you probably read the summary before clicking on this story), let me start off by saying that we will NOT see any accumulation from this system whatsoever. I repeat, nothing will accumulate!

Now, temperatures will be dropping this weekend as an arctic air mass continues to move in our direction. We are already seeing its impacts today and will see it increase through Saturday. Clouds will be increasing tonight into Friday, and it will be tough to even get some peeks of sunshine in on Friday and Saturday.

Friday night into Saturday we will see a weak system potentially generate a snow flurry or two. The best chances to even see a flake will be along and north of Highway 82 in the Golden Triangle. Our locations along and north of Highway 16 (Carthage, Philly, and DeKalb northward) may be able to see a couple of flakes fall. Locations along and south of I-20 (Meridian, Newton, Forest, Livingston southward) will be lucky to even see a flake as it looks like we will be too dry to get snow to even form.

After the very small chance at snow, temperatures will start increasing into the middle of next week with our only real chance at measurable precipitation falling on Tuesday when a cold front works through.
