Hard to argue with the beautiful sunshine and pleasant conditions we've had the last couple of days, and the nice weather is going to continue right into the weekend. High pressure is currently in northwest Mississippi near Greenwood and is continuing to move east. It will actually dissipate overnight as the upper level high builds in, and this will be the catalyst to warm us up into the weekend. Temperatures will make it to our normal high of 66 tomorrow and crack the low 70s for both days this weekend.
Our next major system will not arrive until late Sunday into Monday. It is looking less and less like this system will have anything to work with in terms of thunderstorms, but this could be an all day rain maker. Rain will end Monday night and after a cooler Tuesday, we return to the 70s to close out next week.
