Plenty of sunshine with us today, and sunshine will dominate the next 7 days after a cold front passes through overnight. Any rain with this front should stay west of I-55, so no rain concerns for us tonight.
High pressure starts building in from our north tomorrow, keeping temperatures closer to seasonal values as opposed to above normal. We will see temperatures bottom out Saturday before we start rebounding for the end of our weekend and our Memorial Day.
High pressure intensifies aloft next week, allowing temperatures to begin warming back towards 90 as we work through next week. Rain will be deflected to our north as high pressure remains in control of our weather into the beginning of June.
