The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation Tornado Watch for the following counties in Mississippi:

Clarke
Jasper
Jones
Kemper
Lauderdale
Leake
Neshoba
Newton
Scott
Smith
Wayne

and the following counties in Alabama:

Choctaw
Clarke
Greene
Hale
Marengo
Sumter

A PDS Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for strong tornadoes (EF-2 and greater). Stay with Newscenter 11 for the latest weather updates.
