Sunshine has finally returned to the Twin States as the low that has brought us the clouds, rain, and cooler weather has moved far enough away to take the clouds with it. The sunny skies will give way to clouds returning overnight and into Wednesday morning as our next cold front arrives.
This front will be moisture starved for the most part, but I cannot completely rule out a stray shower, especially in the morning hours. Skies will then clear back out tomorrow afternoon, leaving us with a beautiful back part of Wednesday and Thursday, the first official day of Spring.
Our next system will start to impact us on Friday as clouds arrive out ahead of it. We may see some showers on Saturday afternoon and evening, but the bulk of the rain look to wait until Sunday.
Skies will slowly clear Monday, with a lingering shower possible, and then some cooler air looks to arrive. It is too early to pinpoint just how cool we will get for the middle of next week, but we may get another brief shot of Winter.
