Partly to mostly cloudy skies have been with us through the day as our area of low pressure exits and high pressure enter the region. We will see a mostly clear night with some patchy fog as we prepare for an even sunnier and warmer Wednesday.
Temperatures rise through our Wednesday and Thursday into the lower, middle, and perhaps even upper 80s by the end of Thursday as high pressure fully asserts itself. High pressure will back off on Friday as our next system arrives, bringing us some storms starting in the afternoon hours. Rain showers will continue on Saturday, but they look to exit before sunrise on Sunday, making for a nice Sunday and start to next week.
High pressure will return Sunday afternoon, clearing skies out and allowing temperatures to start warming after a cool Monday with highs in the middle 70s as some cooler air from the north filters in. We should return to the 80s by next Tuesday.
