As the upper level low that has brought us showers and storms continues to push away from the area skies are clearing from south to north. We will clear out through the overnight and have a beautiful start to our Thursday with mostly sunny to complete sunshine to start our Thursday. Clouds will be on the increase in the afternoon and evening ahead of our next system that will arrive Friday morning.
Our next system will bring showers and storms to the area in the morning hours with some lingering showers possible through Friday afternoon. Storms Friday morning could get strong to severe with damaging winds looking to be the only threat at this point. Storms will clear late morning with rain completely exiting the area by Friday evening.
Once this low exits, high pressure will start to build in from the surface and aloft bringing back very warm air as we head into the start of next week. Highs will return to the 90s by Sunday and remain there into the middle of next week. Rain chances will drop to only pop-up variety storms starting Saturday with a good chance most of us remain dry through the weekend and into next week.
