A few more storms this afternoon so far compared to what we have been seeing across portions of West Alabama. These showers and storms have been slow movers and will quickly dissipate after sunset. Temperatures overnight will remain mild as lows dip to near 70.
We will see pop-up showers and storms through the afternoon on Thursday and Friday as well as highs climb back into the lower 90s each day. A better chance of rain looks to arrive for Saturday and Sunday as high pressure weakens and just a bit of lift above the surface may allow storms to become more scattered in the afternoon hours each day. I am not expecting a wash out, but definitely will have to look out for showers and storms this weekend.
Rain chances drop back to just pop-up variety for Monday into the middle of next week as highs remain in the lower 90s.
