Hattiesburg, Miss. Restoration work is nearly finished on a historic building damaged by a 2013 tornado at the University of Southern Mississippi.

University officials tell WDAM-TV that work on Ogletree House has reached substantial completion.

The building houses offices of the Southern Mississippi Alumni Association.

Much of the south and east ends of the building were damaged during the tornado on Feb. 10, 2013.

Alumni Association executive director Jerry DeFatta says a formal dedication for the restored building is being planned for early September.
