...ALL TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS CANCELLED FOR SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND
THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS...

.AT 500 PM EDT...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM FAY WAS LOCATED
NEAR LATITUDE 29.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE 83.2 WEST OR ABOUT 50
MILES...NORTH OF CEDAR KEY FLORIDA. THIS POSITION IS ABOUT 210
MILES SOUTHWEST OF SAVANNAH...AND 285 MILES SOUTHWEST OF CHARLESTON.

FAY IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 6 MPH. ON THE FORECAST
TRACK...THE CENTER OF FAY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE CROSSING THE
NORTHERN FLORIDA PENINSULA TONIGHT AND THEN MOVE NEAR OR OVER THE
FLORIDA PANHANDLE ON SATURDAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 45 MPH...WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
LITTLE CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 29.44 INCHES.

OCCASIONAL SQUALLS...WIND GUSTS TO 30 OR 40 MPH AND PERIODS OF
HEAVY RAINS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT SOUTHERN SOUTH CAROLINA AND
SOUTHEAST GEORGIA TONIGHT.

IN ADDITION...MINOR TO MODERATE BEACH EROSION WILL AFFECT COASTAL
AREAS...ESPECIALLY AROUND THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE...AS TIDE LEVELS
CONTINUE TO RUN ABOUT 1 TO 2 FEET ABOVE PREDICTED LEVELS. THE NEXT
HIGH TIDE WILL BE BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 2 AM EDT.
