JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- State Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney says as Mississippi marks the 40th anniversary of Hurricane Camille this week, people should make sure they're prepared in case a similar disaster strikes again.

Chaney says homeowners need to review their insurance policies to see whether they have flood and windstorm coverage.

He says people should also review coverage limits on their homes and valuables. They should also determine whether a policy will pay replacement cost or actual cash value for losses and find out whether a policy will pay for additional living expenses to pay for hotels and meals in case a home becomes uninhabitable.
