Clear skies and abundant sunshine have been with us for most of the day as we warmed up to the lower 80s today. The warming trend and clear skies will continue for most of this coming week as high pressure will be our main weather maker. We won't see clouds again until Thursday, as clouds start to build back in ahead of our next system that will bring a round of showers and storms.
Temperatures from here on out will be on the rise with most locations sitting near 90 degrees by the middle of this coming week. Warmer air will continue to spill in from Texas and with the warmth comes an increase in moisture.
For most of this coming week we will remain dry until the weekend arrives. I'm confident that we will see rain and isolated storms this weekend, but not as confident if it will be severe yet. If the models continue to agree we could see another round of severe weather, but for now going to hold off on that and just call for isolated storms.
Get outside and enjoy the beautiful week that we have been blessed with after this past week.
