Rolland Daniels, who grew up in Collinsville, and who is now the pastor of a church in Indiana, is hosting a book signing Thursday. Daniels is signing copies of his second book called “Legacy Maker” until 8:00 o’clock at the Piggly Wiggly of Collinsville.

Daniels says the book is simply about the experiences that took place between a father and a son and how the lessons he learned can help others become legacy makers as well.

”They’re simple principles like it never costs anymore to be kind or the power of a few words,” said Daniels.

“It’s how do you make a difference or how are you open to people or maybe different than you and how you still treat them with respect. How do you build a relationship so you can talk and listen to one another. And then at the close of every chapter, there’s certain questions that we ask just to help people really engage these principles, live these principles out and hopefully live a life that matters.”
