Another pleasant day in store for Tuesday
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - Happy Tuesday! This week is starting out to be a pleasant one, but the heat will be rising as we head into the weekend. For our Tuesday, expect a mix of clouds and sun with high temperatures in the upper-80s and low-90s. With the unseasonably low humidity that will be in place, it will feel relatively comfortable out there on our Tuesday. Patchy fog is possible in spots this morning, but no widespread impacts are expected. An isolated shower or storm cannot be ruled out this afternoon, but most of us will remain dry. We look to see mostly clear skies overnight with a chance of a stray shower. Morning lows by Wednesday will be in the upper-60s.
We’ll continue to see isolated shower and storm chances heading into our day on Wednesday. High temperatures will once again be around 90 degrees Wednesday afternoon. Most of us will still stay dry Wednesday with partly cloudy skies. Thursday will almost be a repeat of Wednesday, although temperatures will be a couple of degrees warmer Thursday afternoon than compared to Wednesday. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies with a chance of isolated showers and storms once again on our Thursday. By Friday, only a pop-up shower or storm will be possible. Morning lows will return to the low-70s and afternoon highs will return to the mid-90s under mostly sunny skies.
We’ll continue our warming trend heading in our weekend. High temperatures will be in the upper-90s Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, high temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper-90s. Both weekend days will feature partly cloudy skies with a chance of pop-up showers and storms each afternoon. Most of the weekend will be dry. Morning lows will be on the low-70s and the mid-70s on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. High temperatures will stay in the upper-90s as we head into our day on Monday. Monday will feature partly cloudy skies with a chance of isolated showers and storms in the afternoon. Morning lows on Monday will be in the mid-70s.
