MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - The greatest day of show and tell opened its doors to the public again Saturday!

The Meridian Maker Faire is a gathering of people who enjoy sharing their passions and learning about others.

Organizations like the Boy Scouts and Rose Hill Company shared their missions.

While people who enjoy steam works, robotics, 3-D printing, and old-time flint and steel weaponry showed whoever would stop and listen why they care so much about what they brought to show Saturday.

“We really enjoy the opportunity here at the museum to show people the technology that made this country and that is no longer common,” Carlton Young said while showing off his own antique rifle. “The flintlock rifle, everybody’s familiar with the minuteman or Daniel Boone or Davey Crockett, this is the penultimate American weapon.”

The Maker Faire continues Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
