Shooting suspect in custody after injuring two people

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - According to the Meridian Police Department, a man suspected of shooting and injuring two people at a Meridian hotel has been arrested.
MPD Detective Chanetta Stevens said the shooting happened Tuesday afternoon at the Red Roof Inn on South Frontage Rd.
Stevens said the case is still under investigation.
