22nd Avenue bridge closed briefly Wednesday morning

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) - The 22nd Avenue bridge in Meridian was temporarily closed due to an emergency late Wednesday morning.
According to Detective Chanetta Stevens, an incident happened and an individual was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The bridge reopened after the area was cleared.
